“What’s going on?”

First there was all the happiness about setting up the new blog design, and thenβ€”-I disappeared. No new blog posts, no social networking, not even a picture of a coffee cup. Nada. So here’s a short post about the last week+ here.

In short, I thought I had the fluβ€”except, it wasn’t the flu.

Turns out, it was appendicitis, and it ruptured, which in turn introduced e. coli into my blood stream.

Let’s just say it was a long, gory week at the hospital.

I still have e. coli, but we’re working on that. I’m on home care for ten days and then we test and hope it’s gone. Then I have a couple more weeks recuperation.

I’m back to doing what I can on the blog and social networks (Triberr, I still love you guys, lol) but as you can imagine, I’m pretty beaten so it’s really slow going.

Hope everyone is having a safe and happy new year πŸ™‚

Oh my gosh! That’s awful! I hope you recover quickly and definitely don’t stress yourself out over social media things. You need all the energy you can get to recover.

    Feel better soon!

Is it horrible that when I eventually had thinking capacity again, I was annoyed how many 24-hour windows I had missed? Ya know, like the limits on social media that reset every 24 hours. lol Addicted, not me πŸ˜‰

Thanks for the comment and wishes, Ava πŸ™‚

Get well soon. What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger!

Thank you, Thomas! I hope that’s true, and when I reach superhuman status, that I get an awesome super power (it’ll probably be lame, like melting ice cubes with my mind.) πŸ˜‰

Feel well soon! What a rough way to start the year! We’re thinking of you, so just focus on being well.

On another note, were you thinking of all the social networking you were missing while in the hospital? I probably would be. LOL.

Get well! We’re glad to have you back.

I didn’t get much thinking in the hospital (they have good drugs to prevent that, lol) but when I got home and collected my wits, yeah, I was pretty annoyed how much social media time I missed out on lol Horrible, right?

I’m just glad you’re okay. You gave me a nasty scare… then I started scaring everyone else… it was ugly πŸ˜‰

    I got your back =)
