The Four-Letter Five-Letter Word
Strep is a four-letter word around here (despite it being five letters).
Even though I refused to say the s word, it inevitably showed itself.
I attempted to put out the various daily fires for the blogs, B&B, day job, etc but eventually caved and crawled into bed with a book and hot tea.
I’ve been wanting to read this book since it came out, but couldn’t justify buying another book when I looked at my TBR stack.
Well, okay, I could justify it, but I was trying to show some restraint. Trying.
I bought it anyway.
It was awesome. So awesome, in fact, I wound up reading the sequel right after.
While it wasn’t quite as delicious as the first one, it didn’t ruin it by any means. Kendare pulled off a great conclusion.
Loved it. Loved the cast. Loved the story. Loved the twists. Loved the ending.
The tea was pretty good too.
